Yesterday I went for my usual Sunday morning walk. The weather was cold and the wind was fresh. However for a few hours the wind blows through your head and cleans the mind.
I arrived home and sat down to read my sunday paper. The walk must have got to me as I slipped into a shallow sleep. Everything was paradise : people were smiling and the days were hot with light evenings. The sweet smell of success was everywhere and everything was great.
I must have woken up then and back to normal. The papers were full of grim business stories and strikes and redundancies !!! I read however that more mortgages were arranged in December 08 than December 07 . If that continues through January and Febuary then it will be a great help.
Out travel business arranged about 70% sales against the same January period in 07. The view is that holidays will be arranged nearer the day as most people are approaching the holiday date with a ' wait and see' . Be confident and positive.
