'What is going to happen to me', I have been saying that quote for the last 20 years and now many of my family ,friends and work mates say to me ' what is going to happen to you'. It proves that if you keep on long enough it wins through in the end.

Now that we have moved into April it is much lighter in the evenings. When the north/east winds change to more of a westerley direction it will be a pleasure to be outside. The garden is always exciting in Spring with so many new ideas and much enthusiam for what will be to come in the months ahead.

Back to work the first few months of the year are such a slog but make the foundation for the year. We all take a breather at easter and charge up the body batteries. I am aware that as each year slips by you need the body recharge at regular intervals. The bank rate rises are now beginning to bite and it looks like business for small firms will be much tougher in the months ahead.

As to sport there is a lot going on with football, world cricket, cycling ,rugby and numerous other sports for everyone to enjoy. I personal look forward to The Tour de France every summer and this year The Americas Cup sailing event at Valencia will produce a lot of excitement and world interest.
